A YELLOW-GROUND EMBROIDERED HANGING
19TH CENTURY
The centre of the hanging is embroidered with a roundel enclosing a pagoda within cresting waves, a fruit-bearing peach, pine and a crane. The roundel is surrounded by a dense lotus scroll and bats covering the hanging. The yellow-ground hanging is lined with blue silk.
