Taylor 1945
Ex Christie's lot 122 10th November 1994. Damaged wax capsule. Bin-soiled and damaged label. Level into neck
Tasting note: Reputed from the start to be head and shoulders the best ’45……Most recently noting good colour, positive fruit, length, and Taylor backbone. Certainly good. Certainly impressive, but the ’48 is finer Last tasted March 1998 ***** Plenty of life yet. M.B.
