The rectangular box set on four bracket feet fitted with two long drawers and upper, shallower compartment accessed by the hinged lid, the hinges, corner and side mounts gilt metal engraved with auspicious peach and svastika symbols, the interior glossy black lacquer; the black-lacquer underlayer pleasingly visible on the exterior
