AN UNUSUAL GE-TYPE-GLAZED WATER POT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The water pot has a sharply compressed body covered with a greyish glaze suffused with dark grey ('iron wire') crackle, interrupted on the widely flared shoulder by a molded biscuit band of geometric scroll covered with a dark brown dressing, as is the mouth rim and foot rim around the similarly glazed base.
