A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' BOWLS
TONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1862-1874)
Each bowl has deep, rounded sides flaring slightly towards the rim. The exterior is decorated with a phoenix and a dragon pursuing a flaming pearl amidst flames and ruyi-shaped clouds.

The Rende Zhai (House of Benevolent Learning) Collection, 1949-1970s, in the United States before 1990.
