REPUBLIC PERIOD, EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each baluster jar is decorated on the side with a riverscape scene within a gold-enamel border, all surrounded by elaborate floral scroll on a deep blue ground, between stylized ruyi borders at the foot and shoulder. The neck is pierced with a band of conjoined rings, and the conical cover is also pierced with a band of petals below the gilt finial.
