A VERY RARE CLEAR GLASS LAMP
19TH CENTURY
The lamp consists of five fitted sections: comprising a circular stand supported on three ruyi-form feet, its top formed by nine small rings surrounding a central aperture fitted with a separate pierced plaque into which fits the bottom of the ovoid lamp on top of which sits a small disk that holds the metal tube which would enclose the wick beneath the tapering domed-shaped shade. The sides of the stand and the ovoid lamp have raised white enamel decoration.
