AN UNUSUAL SEMI-OPAQUE EGG YOLK-YELLOW LAYERED GLASS JAR
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The compressed globular body tapers to a concave foot and to the waisted neck below the out-turned rim where the contrast of the darker yellow color of the translucent outer layer and the paler yellow color of the opaque inner layer is visible.
