TWO JADE SNUFF BOTTLES
1800-1900
The first is of rounded, well-hollowed form, with a plain oval panel carved on each side. The stone is of even, pale white tone. The second is of flattened form, with high shoulders tapering to the short foot, carved on one side with a circular shou character surrounded by C-scrolls. The reverse has a shou character encircled by two rows of bosses. The stone is of pale, slightly greenish-white tone.
2½ and 2½ in. (6.3 and 6.3 cm.) high, pink quartz and jadeite stoppers (2)
