A GREENISH-WHITE JADE TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER
19TH CENTURY
The slightly compressed, globular body is raised on three tapering supports, and is carved on one side with a pair of dragons chasing a flaming pearl, and a phoenix with flowering branches on the other. The pair of stylized mask handles at the shoulder suspend loose rings, and the cover has an openwork dragon finial. The pale greenish-white stone has a few milky inclusions.
