Maharani Jind Kaur (1817-1863) known as Rani Jindan, was Maharaja Ranjit Singh's youngest wife and the mother of Duleep Singh. She became Regent when her son ascended the throne at the age of 5. She died in Kensington, London, on 1 August 1863.
