A WHITE AND RUSSET JADE 'BUTTERFLY AND GOURD' PENDANT

The pendant is delicately carved in the form of two gourds, growing from a vine intertwined with multiple leaves highlighted in the russet area of the stone. There are two butterflies fluttering in the centre of the gourds.

Acquired prior to 1939 and thence by descent within the family.
