A SET OF SIX SEVRES (HARD PASTE) BOTANICAL DESSERT-PLATES
CIRCA 1820-25, BLUE STENCILLED INTERLACED L MARKS ENCLOSING FLEUR-DE-LYS AND SEVRES MARKS, INDISTINCT INCISED KILN DATE MARKS, SOME POSSIBLY FOR 1821, 1824 AND 1825, VARIOUS INCISED LETTERS, ONE WITH INDISTINCT GILT DATE MARKS
Each painted with specimen fruit or nuts within a gilt scroll border, four examples named on the reverse in black script for Néfles, Chasslas and Fraises Caperons Blancs, and in purple script for plaqueminier de virginie., of the remaining two one with purple damsons and the other with yellow damsons (the strawberry plate with glazed flat chip and short hairline crack to footrim, minor wear to gilding)
