A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE CARVING OF A BEAR
HAN DYNASTY (206 BC - 220 AD)
The crouching beast is carved with bushy tail and rounded ears, its hind legs tucked underneath its body. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet veins and inclusions.
2½ in. (6.4 cm.) wide, wood stand
