A GLOBULAR PEWTER TEAPOT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The teapot is cast with an overhead handle and s-shaped spout. One side is decorated with birds perched on a branch, the other side is inscribed with a poem, signed and sealed. The domed cover is decorated with a lotus bud finial surrounded by a stylised ruyi-head band. There is a single-character seal mark to the base.
