A REMARKABLE ASSOCIATION COPY OF THIS CELEBRATED RARITY. Title verso signed in ink by Barrie and the other 11 members of his team (signature of Owen Seaman slightly affected by paper adhesion), the dedication leaf signed in ink by the Irish baritone, Harry Plunket Greene (playing for Mr. Navarro’s opposing team) and Mary de Navarro, the dedicatee, the eleven interrogatives on pp. 31-32 answered in pencil, signed Marry Barrie and initialled J.M.B. as counter-signature, rear endpaper with further signatures in ink of Lilly Millet, Hubert von Herkomer, Blanche Griffin, A.F. Dellarasso, F.D. Millett, Charles Turley Smith, and Alfred Parsons. Inserted news cutting describing the match. Padwick 1296.
