Thirteenth edition. Although it records many centuries, comparatively few were in county cricket. G.F. Grace made a famous 180 not out against Surrey 'and thereby not only scored more runs than did the whole Surrey Eleven with the bat in either of their innings, but he made the largest Gloucestershire score of the season and the second highest "County" innings' of 1875.
