Each shaped oval with gadrooned borders, engraved with a crest and later with initial M below an earl's coronet, each marked underneath, numbered and engraved with scratchweights 'No.9 44:14' and No.10, 46:3
16 in. (40.8 cm.) wide
86 oz. 8 dwt. (2,688 gr.)
The crest is for James Harris, later 1st Earl of Malmesbury (1746-1820). The Prussian eagle, an augmentation to the arms, was added in 1789.
The initial is probably for William Wellesley-Pole, 1st Baron Maryborough and 3rd Earl of Mornington (1763-1845).
