MAKER'S MARK CYRILLIC 'NA', MOSCOW, 1899-1908
Of traditional form, on four stepped bracket feet, enamelled overall with stylised scrolling foliage in shades of opaque blue, green, pink, cream, pale green, and translucent red, blue and green on white and stippled gilt grounds, the back finely cast and chased in the form of a traditional izba in pan-Slavic style with a stylised flower-head finial flanked by two polychrome enamel stylised cockerels, marked under base, on cover and back
