Applied with two bearded mask handles, painted to each side with a bouquet within a gilt scroll cartouche, the lower part moulded with a band of gilt oval medallions, on a spreading foot and a stepped square base
11½ in. (29.2 cm.) high
Provenance
Acquired in Russia in the 1930s, by the Italian ambassador to Russia.
Thence by descent to the present owner.
