BIBLE, in Greek. The New Testament. Paris: Robert Estienne, 1549. 2 parts in one volume, 16º (125 x 79mm). Woodcut basilisk device on titles, Estienne device at end. With the last two blanks. Early 17th-century red morocco, the sides with two borders à la Du Seuil joined at the corners by a double gilt fillet, spine lettered with title, printer's initials and date, and enclosed by repeat design of gilt fillets forming a double frame, gilt edges (joints lightly rubbed).
