An East Roman bronze oil lamp
with knopped lid (hinge pin missing), the circular body with spouted nozzle, and loop handle with a vertical spade-shaped flange, the shoulder and the flange engraved with stylized vine tendrils -- 4¾in. (21.2cm.) long, 3rd/4th Century A.D.; a corroded bronze vessel foot, in the form of a winged lion's paw -- 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, circa 4th-3rd Century B.C.; a bronze group of an eagle perched upon the back of a recumbent doe, mounted on later footed pedestal base -- 6¾in. (17.3cm.) high total, possibly Roman period; a bronze ladle, the tall handle with swan's head terminal -- 11in. (28cm.) high, circa 2nd Century B.C./A.D.; a Luristan bronze beaker, decorated with two encircling repoussé friezes of animals -- 6in. (15.2cm.) high; a bronze horse-bit, the 'v'-shaped cheekpieces with horse-head finials -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) long, both 9th-8th Century B.C.; a stylized bronze pin terminal in the form of a female goddess with pendant breasts -- 3½in.
