A RARE MOULDED LONGQUAN CELADON 'PEONY SCROLL' DOUBLE-GOURD VASE
MING DYNASTY, 15TH CENTURY
The vase is of characteristic double-gourd shape, applied on the upper and lower bulbs with a moulded scrolling peony, all under a glossy glaze of light sea-green tone suffused with broad crackles. The foot rim is unglazed.
