A FINE AND RARE SMALL CLOISONNE ENAMEL BRUSHREST
QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE-SQUARES AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The brush rest is formed as a three-point mountain of slightly crescent section raised on a gilt-bronze stand cast with a classic scroll. Each side is enamelled with a lotus bloom on the central prominent mount, with scrolling tendrils connecting to two smaller flowers on the flanking mounts, all above a ruyi band.
