Green morocco by Riviere & Son, spine lettered in gilt, gilt edges. Provenance: S. A. Thompson Yates (bookplate).
FIRST EDITION, with “I dig the ground” on B2r and “Injoy my fruites” on H5r. The work consists of 12 poems arranged by season. The poems are in Latin with facing English translations. Praz p. 332; Pforzheimer 362b; STC 10693.
