Lot Essay

A famille verte faceted vase of Kangxi date decorated in the same fashion, but with an apocryphal Jiajing mark, is illustrated in Kangxi Porcelain Wares from the Shanghai Museum Collection, Shanghai, 1998, p. 152, no. 103.
