A MING-STYLE BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS BOUQUET' DISH
18TH CENTURY
The dish has rounded sides and is decorated in fifteenth century-style with a ribbon-tied lotus plant bouquet incorporating saggitaria and millet in the center of the interior below composite flower scroll in the well which is repeated on the exterior. The base is unglazed.
13 1/16 in. (33.2 cm.) diam.
