The narrow panels consist of horizontal panels carved in openwork with chilong confronting on shaped medallions enclosing the character shou, ruyi heads, and scenes with antiques. Each panel is inset with a painting of ladies and their attendants gathering and engaged in leisurely activities on terraced pavilions.
