Lot Essay

This table de milieu in the style of Riesener is of very fine construction reminiscent of François Linke’s atelier. An unusual and rare model, another example identical, but in plain mahogany with fleur de pècher marble, signed by François Linke sold Christie’s, New York, 10 October 2001, lot 363.
