Each baluster, with a band of floral sprays between fluting, centred by a cartouche engraved with two coats-of-arms accolé below a Royal crown, comprising: a coffee-pot and a teapot, each with ivory insulated handle; a milk-jug and a sugar bowl and cover; and a tray oblong with ribbon-tied laurel border, each piece marked underneath, on foot and inside cover, contained in a fitted gilt-tooled red leather box, the cover set with a plaque engraved with two coats-of-arms accolé below a Royal crown

gross weight 63 oz. 19 dwt. (1,989 gr.)
The arms are those of Bulgaria with Saxony in pretence accolé with those of Bourbon-Parma for Ferdinand I, King of Bulgaria (1861-1948) and his wife Princess Maria Luisa of Bourbon-Parma (1870-1899) who he married in April 1893.
