A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF LIU HAI
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The bronze is cast as a seated, bare-chested figure of Liu Hai, resting on one elbow, and carrying a string suspending coins in both hands, with a double gourd behind his back. He is accompanied by his three-legged toad at his right calf.
