A PAIR OF CORAL-GROUND GILT-DECORATED WALL VASES
QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
Each vase has a flat underside and integral stand and is painted in gilt with sprays of lotus borne on tendrils, between ruyi-heads at the mouth and petal lappets around the foot. The base is covered under a transparent glaze.
