SEVENTH EDITION, smaller in size than previous ones and with the price reduced from 2/- to 1/-. This edition (and subsequent ones) features a new version of the frontispiece, the two poplar trees having grown considerably in size, and with two flocks of birds taking flight. The title has reverted to ‘Cricketer’s Guide’ and the cover and title page are now identical in this respect. A woodcut tailpiece of a tower adorns p. 9. The final three pages comprise an advertisement for the publisher’s various accounts books and a forthcoming work on the history of Lewes.
