A PAIR OF SPINACH-GREEN JADE TABLE SCREENS
FIRST HALF OF THE 20TH CENTURY
Each is incised and decorated in gilt to one side with a scene variously depicting a logger and fishermen in a mountainous landscape which is scattered with lakeside pavilions and trees. The reverse is variously decorated with a long spray of chrysanthemums, and bamboo stems beside craggy rocks. The stone is of a dark spinach-green tone with natural inclusions.
