Lot Essay

With Grima original box and letter, furthermore delivered with Omega Extract of the Archives confirming production of this watch, model: "Jeux d'Or" by GRIMA, in 18K gold with 18K gold bracelet and its subsequent sale on 29 May 1969.

This watch is an extremely rare example of the collaboration between a watchmaker and a jeweller. While movement and case back are realized by Omega, the bezel and case detail have been made by London retailer Grima, as specified in the accompanying letter.

It is distinguished by its highly unusual, typical 1970s design and the very good overall condition.
