CASE: the arched hood with brass finials and brass bound convex glass flanked by reeded pilasters to the canted angles, brass fish-scale sound frets to the sides, the trunk with plain figured arched door above the stepped plinth with fielded panel and wavy-edge foot
DIAL: the silvered 12 inch dial with twin subsidiary hour and seconds dials and signed 'Farrow, London', steel hands
MOVEMENT: the robust stepped movement plates joined by six knopped and turned pillars, twin barrels, deadbeat escapement with jewelled pallets, Harrisons maintaining power and wheelwork with six crossings to the going train and four crossings to the strike train, strike on bell, wood rod pendulum with brass bob, brass cased weights
