Each piece part-fluted and with gadrooned borders, the candlesticks later-engraved with a coat-of-arms, the boxes and bowl each marked underneath and near rim, the candlesticks marked underneath
the candlesticks 9 1/8 in. (23 cm.) high
the boxes and bowls 48 oz. 1 dwt. (1,495 gr.)
The arms on the candlesticks are those of Gregory, almost certainly for Gregory de Ligne Gregory (1786-1854).

Gregory de Ligne Gregory (1786-1854) of Harlaxton Manor, Lincolnshire, by bequest to
Sir Glynne Earle Welby-Gregory 3rd Bt. (1806-1875) and then by descent.
