A BRITISH .75 INDIA PATTERN PERCUSSION SERVICE MUSKET
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Converted from flintlock, 40 ¼ in. (102 cm.) barrel re-breeched at conversion, the tang with open rear-sight, border engraved rounded lock with 'GR' cypher and marked 'TOWER', walnut stock and brass mounts; together with A .702 PERCUSSION SERVICE RIFLE OF BRITISH 'BRUNSWICK' TYPE, MID-19TH CENTURY, with 30 in. (76 cm.) sighted barrel rifled with two grooves and with bayonet bar on the right side at the muzzle, flat border engraved lock with crown and marked 'TOWER PROOF', and some original faded finish throughout
