A FINE CASED PAIR OF 8X57mmR SIDELOCK EJECTOR RIFLES

With 23 5/8 in. (60 cm.) blued signed sighted nitro barrels, each with raised matt rib bearing open sights, the No. 1 rifle also fitted with bases for quick detachable telescopic sight mounts, case-hardened treble grip actions with foliate carved fences, blued toplevers respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, automatic safeties each with gold-inlaid 'S', case-hardened locks each with cocking-indicator, blued trigger-guards, case-hardened pistolgrip-caps, best quality foliate and scroll engraving throughout, well-figured 14 ¼ in. pistolgrip stocks each with raised cheek-piece and gold-inlaid crowned 'A' monogram, engraved heel and toe plates, and retaining virtually all their original finish throughout, weight respectively 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 7 lbs 10 oz., in original brass-cornered oak and leather double case with accessories
