CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, XVIIIEME SIECLE
The head of the sceptre is of typical form and carved with two peaches borne on a leafy spray. The central section of the shaft is delicately decorated with finger citron surrounded by blossoming scrolls. The terminal is carved with pomegranates ; minor splits.
15 7/8 in. (40 cm.) long.
