The vessel is cast with mythical beast mask loop handles, and a diamond-and-dot design on the globular body. The interior is incised with an archaic inscription which can be translated as '(someone named) Ge wang ... nu ... made this precious vessel for ... Gudingding'; restorations.
7 1/8 in. (18 cm.) diam.
