NEPAL, DEBUT XVIEME SIECLE
Syamatara is seated in lalitasana on a lotus base with her right foot placed on a smaller one. Her right hand is in varadamudra while the left in vitarkamudra, and both were originally holding the stem of a lotus flowering along her upper arms. She is wearing a sari and jewellery set with semi-precious stones. Her hair is coiffed in a chignon and secured with a tiara ; sealed.
