In June 1966, The Beatles gave three concerts in West Germany starting in Munich on Friday, 24th June, Essen on 25th June and lastly in Hamburg on 26th June. Sponsored by German magazine Bravo, the tour became known as the Bravo Blitztournee. They travelled from Munich to Essen and Hamburg in a specially-chartered DSG train, used by Queen Elizabeth II on a royal visit to West Germany the previous year. According to the vendor, this menu card was acquired from Bravo reporter Thomas Beyl, who accompanied The Beatles on the short tour.
