A GEMSET GOLD-HILTED DAGGER (KARD)
NORTH INDIA, 19TH CENTURY
The single-edged watered steel blade with a cusped cartouche at the chappe containing an elegant floral scroll, the gold hilt densely set with emeralds, rubies and diamonds, each side with a series of emerald flowerheads tapering towards the blade and surrounded by gold mounted rubies
