With earlier Austrian two stage swamped sighted barrels each struck with two maker's marks on the octagonal breech section (Der Neue Støckel 5923 and 1888), gold lined touch holes, signed flat bevelled locks each with stepped tail and roller, walnut full stocks each with flat-sided butt cut with diamond chequering with dots, continental iron mounts almost certainly from the same Austrian pistols as the barrels, one retaining horn tipped ramrod, possibly original
13 ½ in. (34.3 cm) overall
