The broken cornice above a pair of mirrored doors enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon holes and drawers, the base with a hinged fall-front fitted with a well, pigeon holes and drawers, above two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, losses and replacements, the mirror plates replaced
91 in. (231 cm.) high; 41 ¼ in. (105 cm.) wide; 24 in. (61 cm.) deep
Provenance
Probably supplied to Frederick August (1670-1733), Elector of Saxony and, as August II (from 1679), King of Poland, or to his son, August III (1696-1763), Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, for Schloss Moritzburg (inv. no. 42709).
Thence by descent with the Saxon Royal family.
