A WHITE AND BROWN JADE CARVING OF TWO DOGS
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The jade is carved in the round to depict two dogs with long bushy tails, chasing each other with lingzhi sprays in their mouths. The pale white area of the stone is used to highlight one dog, and the brown area is reserved for the depiction of the other dog.
