NEOLITHIC - WARRING STATES PERIOD (CIRCA BC 6500 - 221)
The group comprises a calcified brownish-white jade semi-circular plaque, carved with a shaman; a celadon jade rectangular plaque with dark brown inclusions, incised with a stylised scrolling design; and a similarly decorated semi-translucent celadon jade plaque with darker brown inclusions.
The semi-circular plaque 2 ¼ in. (5.7 cm.) wide
Provenance
The first: acquired in 1988 in Hong Kong.
The second: acquired in 1992 in Hong Kong.
The third: acquired in 1994 in Hong Kong.
