A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF BUDDHA SHAKYAMUNI
18TH CENTURY
Buddha Shakyamuni is seated in dhyanasana upon a lotus base with his hands held in bhumisparshamudra, dressed in an intricately decorated sanghati. He has a serene smiling expression on his face and his hair is styled in tight curls, topped with a knop. There is a vajra placed before his feet.
