A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL RUYI SCEPTRE
18TH CENTURY
The shaft is decorated to the upper surface with two shou medallions on a geometric ground, the reverse with The Eight Daoist Treasures, Babao. The ruyi-head terminal is inset with a gilt bronze panel cast with five bats amongst clouds, encircling a shou character.
